Revolutionary software and hardware proposition that ‘simplifies the smartphone’
Zone V is a brand new product which combines software and hardware to offer a range of new and inclusive features that simplify Samsung smartphone’s. Aimed at seniors and people with sight, hearing and dexterity issues; Zone V releases the cutting-edge features of the latest smartphones to a wider audience.
Zone V is overseen by former Nokia executives Frank Nuovo and Peter Ashall. Frank is famed for heading up Nokia’s first global design team, overseeing the creation of some of the world’s most recognised handsets including the iconic Nokia 3210.
Commenting on the appointment, Our Perspective co-founder Roy Taylor said, “We’re living in an age where if you are not using technology, you miss out on many opportunities. Zone V is aimed at ensuring older people or those with disabilities don’t miss out. Our population is aging and Zone V satisfies a demand from a large cross section of people”.
Our Perspective will be responsible for appointing a distribution partner and developing sales channels for Zone V, building on the success they have had in the last two years with Cat Rugged Phones, STK and Amplicomms to name but a few partners.
Jason Kemp, co-founder of Our Perspective added, “Zone V addresses a particular gap in the market, straddling the void between smartphones and easy to use feature phones. The software makes everything on the phone that bit easier to navigate and the hardware, (namely the case), provides additional benefits such as the magnifier and easy charge port”.
New and extensive research commissioned by Zone V reveals that nearly half (46%) of UK adults over 50 who own a smartphone say they are difficult or complicated to use. What’s more, 30% of the over 50s don’t have a smartphone at all, with 26% of those saying smartphones are too difficult to even attempt to use.
